‘Daniel Rifaterra makes his debut in ANAøH with 'Endon,' an EP filled with power, energy, marked percussion, and a touch of nostalgia.
We had been closely following the work of this artist from Aragón, Spain, who is serious and unpretentious, with an honest and distinctive sound.
We are very happy to welcome a talented young man with a promising future.’
‘Endon EP’ is out today on ANAOH and you know how important is the writing and creative part of the production so let me proceed with a brief breakdown of what I consider a very diverse release:
‘Asis’ was conceived as a functional track than combined the contrast of silly and elegant sounds over a dark groove, creating a different tool for fast paced sets.
There’s always a track that shows my sound-experimenting abilities and in this case it’s ‘Porec’, twisting all kinds of synths and samples to get this demented look.
My fav this time is ‘Endon’, and yes you guessed it, it’s again a cut with a melancholic pad. This time though, the approach is from a ‘dubby chord’ perspective, giving some elegance to the final mix.
Closing the EP we have ‘Redi’, the banger of the badge IMO. Banging groove with a dark touch and playful Memphis rap female vocals.
Once again, big big thanks to FIXON for openinng me the doors of his label and to all the artists supporting this release. It’s truly a big honor.
Grab a copy and thanks for listening!
