Caronte is a reflection and awareness trip over who we are. A new way of understanding the duality where we live in. A space that doubts our veracity when sharing experiences and emotions on social networks. This project started with the creation of a dystopian frame consisting on a society called ‘Atenea’, where each individual exercises a function based on an analysis of their profile and gets paid through the access to a global communication system. When data and communication is the new currency and all the basic needs are granted for free, wealthiness is only based on the amount of information and connectivity you have. Our goal was to avoid our own dystopia through a experience so we created ‘Caronte’, a system for awareness to sensitize a hyperconnected individual through the detection of their emotional activity reacting to their own posts and creating a real criteria for sharing experiences.
