‘Daniel Rifaterra makes his debut in ANAøH with 'Endon,' an EP filled with power, energy, marked percussion, and a touch of nostalgia.
We had been closely following the work of this artist from Aragón, Spain, who is serious and unpretentious, with an honest and distinctive sound.
We are very happy to welcome a talented young man with a promising future.’
‘Endon EP’ is out today on ANAOH and you know how important is the writing and creative part of the production so let me proceed with a brief breakdown of what I consider a very diverse release:
‘Asis’ was conceived as a functional track than combined the contrast of silly and elegant sounds over a dark groove, creating a different tool for fast paced sets.
There’s always a track that shows my sound-experimenting abilities and in this case it’s ‘Porec’, twisting all kinds of synths and samples to get this demented look.
My fav this time is ‘Endon’, and yes you guessed it, it’s again a cut with a melancholic pad. This time though, the approach is from a ‘dubby chord’ perspective, giving some elegance to the final mix.
Closing the EP we have ‘Redi’, the banger of the badge IMO. Banging groove with a dark touch and playful Memphis rap female vocals.
Once again, big big thanks to FIXON for openinng me the doors of his label and to all the artists supporting this release. It’s truly a big honor.
Grab a copy and thanks for listening!

‘The X Series goes all around strong, this is the return of one of our pearls for ARTSX051, Daniel Rifaterra has shown that his sound is functional, refined, and yet emotional, this times he goes in the mind of the dancer with a groovier approach.
• Agen is a full power functional groove that contort itself like a Medusa, highly functional and great for layering.
• Urbano it’s a techno poetry of the late night in the city, a beautiful trip that invite you to take the path to the moon.
• Mantua goes in the depth of the vortex and pull you in when you less aspect it
• Omura it’s a lovely ride, where the sun is shining inside you and the bad times are on your back. Hope’
‘Agen EP is out today and it includes at least two of my favorite and best tracks ever, so don’t miss them!
You already know ‘Urbano’ since it won a Mixmag and EDMwarriors contest and yes, it is one of the tracks that I’m most proud of because of its driving feeling filled with emotions and beauty. It’s getting a lot of support from amazing artists.
‘Omura’ smells like a Daniel Rifaterra track from a long distance. It could probably be the perfect definition for my ’Sober Techno’ personal sound that nobody dares to play but I don’t care because it is sad and emo and beautiful and makes my soul happy.
Unpredictable Daniel strikes again with ‘Mantua’. This cut has a lot of writing on it and I don’t want to make any spoilers so go listen and let yourself get surprised.
Finally ‘Agen’ gives the name to the EP and puts the raw and rational note to this eclectic release. One of those tracks where I like to experiment with sound and percussions, and that I’m sure you’ll here around because blends in perfectly with whatever.
Big big thanks to Emmanuel for giving me voice on what I already consider my home ARTS making so a dream come true.’

MIXMAG X EDMWARRIORS
JUNE 2024

Through our latest ‘Make It’ Challenge we shook the Techno Genre. From Skahigan’s haunting soundscapes to M9WD’s industrial grit, each submission pushed boundaries. But there can only be one champion, and this month, the crown went to Daniel Rifaterra 👑
Hailing from the Spanish countryside, Daniel’s a rising star with a sound that’s as unique as his background. His productions blend post-rock, nu metal, jazz, and even 90s hip-hop into a dark, personal techno style. No wonder he’s caught the ears of techno royalty like Richie Hawtin and Truncate!’
